Armed with a map and a bunch of girlfriends we decided to check out Drips Bakery Cafe post dinner. Only to realise that we got lost walking a big round when it's located near the link bridge connecting to the Link Hotel at Tiong Bahru.
Somehow going to this cafe brought fond memories of growing up at Tiong Bahru. A small and cherry outfit with white walls, modern art and an electric mix of chairs this is a perfect place to hang out with friends for a cup of tea or coffee and some cakes, if you find a seat.
As it was the evening and we couldn't afford to try the coffee less it kept us awake through the night, I decided to go for the Shaken Ice Lemon Tea. What a treat it was as it came with real lemons and limes, a lovely sweet and slightly sour and not overly tart combination which lemon teas have the potential to have.
We also tried the Creme Brûlée as well as the English Raisin Scones which to me was not overly fantastic only if you wanted something a little sweet to end off a meal. I have yet to try the tarts which apparently is a sell out.
Surely it's a trip worth going back again just to chill out on a lazy afternoon or after a meal in the neighbouring areas.
