The Daily Cut

For those of us in Singapore who appreciate clean eating, The Daily Cut is almost a dream come true. Not everything about clean eating is about salads, which is great but sometimes not substantial at all.

So here is where The Daily Cut comes in. Located at the basement of One Raffles Place it offers you a protein (and must I add a sizable, satisfying portion), a complex carb (oh yes now we are talking), and side supplements (I get tickled when I see Quinoa as a choice). All food options available are the better known healthy choices so you do not have to battle with the flesh as you will not be seeing any chips or fried food that you could potentially succumb to.

The only disadvantage of The Daily Cut is that it comes at a hefty price tag of more than $10. I supose one could order the larger size and split into 2 meals to make it worth it. And of course the snaking queues is another one has to contend with. Otherwise, this is the kind of food I hope to see sprouting in Singapore, and hopefully foray into food courts so that it would become a norm rather than the usual limiting healthier options of Yong Tofu or Fish Soup.
