Paris Baguette art in a piece of bread

When Paris Baguette opened its first outlet at Wisma Atria, queues were a norm. Hailing from Korea, this cafe bakery has probably a set a new standard on how breads should taste and look like. Every single bread and pastry on display is so appealing that you want to try every single one of everything.

I have been to Paris Baguette countless of times and still prefer the Wisma Atria outlet for it's space, openness, and comfort. Though it has an open concept, you do not experience swarms of people passing by, so there is relative serenity to enjoy a meal with a friend.

Having tried a selection of their breads I moved onto their breakfasts and now onto their salads (love the Tuna Nicoise salad!). I must say every item on the menu is well thought out, food delicious and full of ingredients down to every last bite. I even like their cold drinks with unique concoctions such as - Kiwi Orange, a definite Vitamin C booster, and Green Grape - a healthy way to drinking fruits cold.

Among all the bakeries in Singapore, this must be my favorite bread shop, though it gears to sweet and pretty instead of wholesome goodness. Of course, at the end of the day, a true Singaporean would still crave good old Singapore coffee and tea with kaya toast set.

Oriole Cafe and Bar - Perfect coffee brew right in the heart of Orchard

Oriole Cafe and Bar located at Pan Pacific Service Apartment and just next to 313 Orchard is the perfect place for a coffee pick me up especially after a gym workout or shopping Orchard Road in Singapore.

On blistering hot days, I love meet my girl friends here for a cup of coffee and desserts as this allowed us all to catch up in a central location and still continue with our post coffee activities.

Their coffee has a strong roast to it which helps to keep one awake especially in the heat. And sitting near the window you could even people watch in cool comfort.

I had the Honey Crumb Affo recently which is a delicious scoop of homemake vanilla ice cream with espresso, chocolate pieces and honey. Perfect to cool off in the heat.
