When I bother to venture here, it would be because of a large gathering of friends, and we would often order their special set menu, which is supposedly very worth it, where you can mix and match dishes. That's where I get confused as to what to order, so very often, I leave the ordering to my friends.
Watami at The Star Vista offers seating for large groups, I particularly like their upstairs section which affords more privacy. The restaurant is what I would consider cheap Japanese food that tastes decent, and a place that would not blow a dent in your wallet. Since the food is cheap, don't expect anything fine with it. On occasions we just need this, a rowdy casual setting, where we can just be ourselves and have a whale of a time with our friends.
