Finally I get to have a meal at Owl Cafe. Already well known as a instant coffee brand it was a bold move to get into the cafe scene and the menu they have out together stands out from the usual instant coffee chains branching into the cafe scene.
I am pretty impressed at the food selection offered at the Owl Cafe that includes a mixture local fusion food and side dishes, apart from the staples of a coffee toast set. You can tell the Owl Cafe took effort to craft a menu that is uniquely their own, stand out as a proper place for meal. Food is also pretty good, with me liking the Laksa Prawn Pasta and Bawan Kepiting Broth very much. Laksa Prawn Pasta for a day when you just wanna a spicy kick, and the Bawan Kepiting Broth (loaded with meat balls) a really hearty and healthy meal one could have.
The only peeve I would have is that both service and kitchen is slow, so only go when you time to spare and not in a rush. Owl Cafe is definitely a place to return too, and yes, I am already thinking of having that yummy broth.
