PapaRich a taste of Malaysian food in Singapore

One of my rare indulgences is Penang Fried Kway Teow at PapaRich. Since it's first outlet at Parkway Parade, the cafe restaurant serving up local Malaysian food has expanded across Singapore. My first taste of PapaRich was when I was in Malacca, and was pleasantly surprised and glad when the chain came here. The food is probably no where near what you would eat in Malaysia kopitiams, but close enough, and definitely more hygienic.

I still recall my first dish that I had ordered at PapaRich was the steamed chicken with curry noodle, the chicken was tender and moist, and the curry noddle spicy. Subsequently, I have been ordering the Penang Fried Kway Teow just because no one does it as well as a Malaysian do, served with huge prawns and a generous serving of beans sprouts.

The outlet at Suntec is probably my favorite especially at off peak hours, the newness, cleanliness, and quietness of the outlet is perfect for mobile desking (free wifi!). It's a great alternative to crowded Starbucks next door.

Drinks at PapaRich tend to be on the sweet side, so do ask for less sweet if required.
